Journey Assurance

Assure the journeys your business runs on.

Excapia continuously runs business journeys, the quote, the checkout, the onboarding, and tells you when the outcome breaks, why, and with what evidence.

Business assertions, not just page checks

A journey is defined with its objective, owner, criticality, environments, exact allowed domains and business checkpoints. Checkpoints say what must be true at each stage, such as “a premium is quoted” or “a policy number is issued”, so a failure points to the business step that broke.

Journeys run in a real Chromium browser or as HTTP checks. Journey authors cannot inject arbitrary scripts, and test data comes from reusable datasets.

Synthetic demo data. Every run records the exact path, version, persona and seed.

Repeatable checks, adaptive investigations

Most journeys should run exactly the same way every time. When one fails, the question becomes why, and that is where adaptive investigation helps.

Repeatable

Approved journeys run on schedules through a durable queue with worker leases. Seeded personas set think time and viewport; latency profiles shape the browser.

ExampleQuote → payment → issued policy every 10 minutes on staging, with a persona matrix per release.

Adaptive

When a recorded path breaks, a recovery pipeline can propose and validate an alternative inside the configured scope, and verified recoveries become experience for next time.

ExampleA renamed button is repaired in scope, and the mission is verified only after its assertions pass.

Baselines that show what normal looks like

Each journey keeps a rolling baseline, 30 days by default, with P50, P90, P95 and P99 durations and a success rate. Percentiles use successful runs; failed runs count against the success rate. Sample counts are always visible.

Release validation turns that into a gate: PASS, WARN or BLOCK, for incomplete validations, missing persona runs, critical failures, SLA degradation, duration regressions, unapproved changes or outdated versions.

Recorder-derived paths

Record a journey once in a controlled browser. Excapia captures intent, semantic target, page context and expected outcome, turns test inputs into variables, and gives you a draft to review.

  1. Capture

A controlled remote browser with a redacted view. Credential inputs are blocked.

  2. Review

Business actions, not raw clicks. Edit before anything is saved.

  3. Approve

Drafts become immutable versions with audit history.

  4. Replay

Scheduled, with checkpoints and evidence on every run.
